M.Sc. Economics

INTRODUCTION
 
The Department of Economics, National University of Modern Languages (NUML) offers M.Sc. in Economics (2-Years Graduate Program in Economics).
 
The degree program of M.Sc. Economics comprises of 20 courses, each course of 3 credit hours, i.e. 60 credit hours in total. There are 16 compulsory courses and 4 optional courses. The students may opt for M.Sc. Thesis of 6 credits (which is equal to 2 optional courses) in the last semester.

B.A./B.Sc. with Economics/Statistics/Mathematics, B.Com, BBA or equivalent qualification with at least second division (45% marks) from any recognized university.

 
 
 
 
Written Test: The candidates have to appear in a written test in Mathematical Skills, English and General Knowledge and Subjective Test (Economics / Mathematics / Statistics). [Sample Test]
 
Interview: Those candidates who qualify the written test, they have to appear for an interview.
 
Final Selection: The final selection will be made on the basis of written test, interview and past academic record.
 
 
 
 
HOW TO APPLY?
 
Admissions Forms and Prospectus can be obtained by paying Rs.350 from the university or Rs.400 by post. Application Forms complete in all respects (attested copies of Testimonials / Certificates / Degrees, National ID Card and three latest Photographs) should reach university within due date. Admissions are announced in leading newspapers about two month before the start of semester.
